Directions from Toronto:
  • Highway 401 East to Belleville, 3rd Exit Hwy 37 N through Tweed to Hwy 7; right on Hwy 7 to 1st set of traffic lights at Perth; left onto Highway 511 through to Calabogie. Pass over bridge (Calabogie Lake to left) stay right continuing on Hwy 511 (Lanark Road) for about 1 km; The Library Guest House is # 12637 on the left just at the curve and is a red brick building with a large front porch

Directions from Ottawa/Montreal:
  • Highway 417 West, continue past Arnprior approx 7 kilometers; turn left onto Calabogie Road (Hwy 508) to Calabogie. As you enter Calabogie, turn left on Highway 511 (Lanark Road) drive for about 2kms - The Library Guest House is # 12637. It is on the right hand side just after a slight hill. It is a red brick building with a large front porch

From Montreal:
  • Highway 40 West to Hwy 417 at border continuing to Ottawa.

Whether its a thrilling zip down Calabogie Peaks, cross country skiing through the rolling woodlands, renting an ice fishing shack, skating on the community outdoor rink or buzzing around on one of Ontario's best snowmobile trails you'll find an abundance of exciting activity. Don't forget to take a respite from the chill and visit the quaint little shops in neighboring Burnstown and to enjoy a hot meal in one of Calabogies many fabulous restaurants and pubs. SPRING - Gentles breezes and warm sunshine let us shed a few layers while enjoying all the activities this cheerful season has to offer. Calabogie Highlands Golf Resort welcomes eager golfers, Calabogie Motorsports opens its gates for track enthusiasts, catching a Spring tan at The Peaks on a mild day is always a bonus and a must is a messy muddy ATV tour with Calabogie Run.

SUMMER - The surrounding waterways come to life with boaters, windsurfers, kayakers, water-skiers and of course the avid fisherman after the big catch. The trails are busy with hikers and bikers. The public beaches that welcome visitors in abundance and Calabogie Peaks beach offers boat rentals and a small beach side grill. Our roadways welcome car clubs, cyclists and motorcycle groups that enjoy the trip up the gently winding highways. Calabogie Highlands is in full swing come summer welcoming visitors to their challenging 27 holes golf resorts. Calabogie Run ATV tours are busy taking groups on scenic tours whether it is a ride through on the trails through the forests, to mountain side vistas or to a private lake for an afternoon of fishing for trout you'll find a custom tour to suit your taste.

FALL - Calabogie's beautiful display of fall colours will provide a magnificent backdrop may you be Golfing, ATVing, track driving, hiking, biking, fishing, or just out for a leisurely Sunday drive. Calabogie Peaks offers Sky Rides on their chairlifts to the top of the mountain which offers a glorious view of the valley full of colour.

Policies, Terms & Conditions
  1. MINIMUM:
    • Please see rate below. *Peak seasons (Summer, Christmas, March Break etc. have longer minimum stay requirements). See rate

  2. DEPOSIT: 
    • A signed rental agreement is required along with a 50% deposit to reserve the property. The balance due within 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Prices are not taxable for vacation rentals.
    • A refundable security deposit of $500.00 is due along with balance of rental fee due 2 weeks prior to arrival.
    • Damages: Guests are responsible for all damages to the premises during their stay.

  3. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT: 
    • Check In:  Normally after 4:00 pm
    • Check Out: Normally by 10:00 am (Flexible if not rented before or after)

  4. CANCELLATION:
    • Cancellation charges apply.
    • Less than 45 days notice and deposit is forfeited.

  5. MISCELLANEOUS:
    • No smoking in cottage
    • No pets
    • Maximum 8 people occupancy in 3-Bedroom cottage
    • Damage: Guests are responsible for damages to the premises during their stay.
    • Guest are responsible for all long distance phone charges and any extraneous charges incurred during the stay.
    • 25% of the persons present at the villa must be 25 years old or older.
    • Cottage must be cleaned prior to departure (with the exception of linens which are included)
    • Third Party cleaning services are available. Extra fees apply & scheduling is required prior to occupancy
    • Departure cleanup charges may apply if left in an unsuitable condition.
